Whenever I hear endocrinology, there are a lot of things that comes into my mind but hormone is one word that I’m mostly familiar with because it involves Pimples and  we all know that Pimple is the first thing that will pop out on our Minds when we hear hormone. And they say that you have hormonal imbalance if you have pimples. And that’s my brief information about endocrine…

What is your idea when you hear or see the word endocrinology?? Here’s basic information about endocrinology…

Endocrinology is a branch of biology that deals with the endocrine system, its disease and its secretions such as hormones as well as its other functions such as metabolism, respiration excretion, reproduction, movement and sensory perceptions. An Endocrinologist is the one who treats the people having this kind of diseases.

The simplest way to define Endocrinology is the study of hormone. And what is hormone then? A Hormone when released in the circulation it can easily bind to a specific receptor on the target tissue, then it can trigger into a lot of reaction and this are examples of the diseases reaction involving hormone:

          -Diabetes

-Thyroid

-Cholesterol disorders

-Hypertension

-Osteoporosis

-Adrenal and pituitary glands

-Hormonal disorders causing infertility

-Low blood sugar, lack of development

-Low blood pressure

-Weight problems

“Man needs difficulties; they are necessary for health”.

For my first blog i didn't elaborate the different kinds of glands that were involve on the endocrine system.This is only the glimpse of the endocrinology that came out of my mind because for me I want to see you what would be the first idea that will come to your mind when you hear the word endocrinology. As you follow and keep viewing my blog I will introduce to you the different kinds of hormones, its mechanism and glands that produce them and their actions in our body. For you also to appreciate the amazing work of the endocrine system (endocrinology) in our body.
